Dave Powers created and supervised the design of New Music Nation, a website/blog that includes his album reviews, year-end best-of lists and a variety of other content and features. The site’s creation involved heavy customization of WordPress blogging software to turn it into a content management system capable of categorizing and searching an archive of thousands of musical artists, record labels and more. To do this, he enlisted the services of expert WordPress developers Lisa Sabin-Wilson and Alex King. The site was prominently featured for its innovation in the second edition of the book WordPress for Dummies by Lisa Sabin-Wilson.
